Obituary

Eddie Charles Morgan, 67, of Long Branch, WV entered into his new heavenly home on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born on May 7, 1951 in Simon, WV a son of the late Jocie Blankenship. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by three sisters Joyce Toler, Nancy Lee Morgan, Barbara Toler; and several nieces and nephews. Those left to cherish his memories are five sisters Lougetta Blankenship, Jone (Joe) Morgan, Anett Lester, Maretta "Donna" (Monroe) Cole and Lana Graley; two brothers Chuck (Glenda) Blankenship and Gregory "Reco" (Tiffany) Blankenship; two aunts Barbara Imogene Morgan and Frankie Cline; nieces and nephews Donita Lester, Maretta Higley, Delmas Toler, Arland Toler, Eric Toler, Lovetta Toler, Tiffany Cook, Lorie Mounts, Michael Paul Morgan, Adam Toler, Brian Toler, Clayton Shane Toler, LeAnna Toler, Summer Hatfield, Stephanie Acord, Becky Jo Atwell, Billy Gean Blankenship, Ashley Toler, Christopher J. Huff, Makaleigh Chyene Blankenship, Terry Lee Graley, Tracy Joanna Hillard and Tammy Michelle Stephens; a very special friend Paul Cox; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday June 5th at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Simon, WV with Pastor Lonnie Blankenship and Rev. Barry Brooks officiating. He will be laid to rest in Morgan Cemetery, Long Branch Mountain. Friends may gather with the family after 6PM on Monday June 4th at the church. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
