Obituary

Kathleen Fleming Patrick, age 96, of Kanawha City passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Thursday August 10, 2017. She was born April 13, 1921 in Clintwood, VA and was raised by her brother and his wife Alfred and Nettie Fleming in Standard, WV. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Clifford Patrick and son, John Patrick. Kathleen was a member of the Kanawha City Baptist Church where she was Deaconess and was involved in many other committees. She was a graduate of Garnett High School and was an LPN at CAMC Memorial Hospital. She loved homemaking, baking, raising flowers and had a deep appreciation for family and nature. Kathleen is survived by son and daughter in law, Greg and Maureen Patrick of Alpharetta, GA and daughter and son in law Karen Patrick and Mark Knight, of Indianapolis, IN and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Kathleen?s life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday August 12, 2017 at Kanawha City Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London, WV. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the services at the church.
