Charles Eddie Scarbro, Jr., 46, of Bradley, WV. God sent his angels to take our Eddie home. He was the gentlest and kindest person one would ever meet. He never had a violent bone in him. He was born on March 20, 1973 in Beckley, WV a son of Nellie Collins Scarbro of Bradley and the late Charles Eddie Scarbro. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his grandparents Dana and Enola Collins and Albert and Irene Scarbro. Eddie was our mountain man. He loved hunting, digging ginseng and digging ramps and anything that put him in the woods. He had previously worked in the coal mines industry. But most of all he loved his family. In addition to his mother whom he loved dearly survivors include a son Justin Scarbro; a daughter Nora Scarbro and their mother Leah; two grandsons Landon and Hunter; two sisters Audrey Spearing and fiancé' Robert Newman of Beckley and Amy Scarbro of Charleston; a brother Adam Scarbro and fiancé' Emily Fraley of Beckley; nephews Hayden Spearing who was like his own son, Tyler Spearing and Layton Collins; a niece Charleigh Scarbro; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Thursday July 25th at Workman's Creek Methodist Church, Clear Creek, WV with Pastor Joe Barnett officiating. He will be laid to rest in Scarbro Family Cemetery, Clear Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12PM until time of services on Thursday July 25th at the church. Pallbearers will be Layton Collins, Robert Newman, Joseph Williams, and Wesley Scarbrough. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV
