Obituary

Alice G. Hundley 60 of Chapmanville, WV departed this earth with her children by her side on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center at Pikeville, KY, after a brief illness. She was born April 30, 1956 at Welch, WV a daughter of the late John G. and Justine Frey. She graduated from Logan High School in 1974 and WVU in 1978 with a Bachelors in Early Education. Alice was a retired teacher from Logan County Schools. She enjoyed the beach, shopping, sitting outside on the porch, and cheering on the Mountaineers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Virginia Frey and grandson Maddox Pierce. She leaves behind her husband James, her children Rachel (Jeremy) Sipple of Foster, WV and Cody Pierce (Hali Meadows) of Morgantown, WV, her grandchildren; Joey, Alex, and Mason Sipple of Foster and Mackenzie and Madison Pierce of Chapmanville, WV. Her biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also leaves behind her best friends Viv Zamow, Ruth Watkins, and her fur babies Molly, Annie, and Muffin. Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville with Rev. John Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Boone Memorial Park at Madison, WV. Friends may call from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM Tuesday at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville.
