Obituary

Barbara Sue Hamon, 71, of Philippi, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV, after a short illness. Born on July 18, 1947 and raised, in Tioga, WV, she is the daughter of the late Tony and Ada Clemens Hamon. She was a 1966 RHS graduate. She worked at Foodland in Craigsville for 11 years and work 29 years in North Carolina as a meat cutter. She always had a smile on her face and she never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Hamon and sister, Virginia “Sissy” Howard. She is survived by her brother, Lonnie Hamon and wife, Barbara, Kingwood, WV; Sister-in-law, Wilma Hamon, Navarre, FL; 3 nieces, Kelly Hamon, Navarre, FL, Penny and husband, Paul Vild, Philippi and Toni and husband, Kevin Johnson, Elkins, WV; 3 nephews, Kevin Hamon and wife, Shandar, Kingwood, WV, Danny Howard and wife, Beth, Flemington, WV, Ronnie Howard, Philippi, WV; 4 great nieces, Alainnie Hamon, Kingwood, WV, Courtney Vild, Grafton, WV, Brandi and husband, Danny Howard-Stickel, Morgantown, WV, Amanda Howard and companion, Nathaniel Delauder, Flemington, WV; 2 great nephews, Hayden Hamon, Kingwood, WV, Paul Vild and wife, Kelly, Junior, WV; 9 great-great nieces and nephews, Levi, Cade and Quinn Vild, Garrett Cross, Chelsea Lopez, MacKenzie Cross, Olivia and Emily Stickel, Matthew Howard; best friends, Dale and Flo Sage, Raleigh, NC, numerous cousins and friends.
