Joseph Robert "Joey" Toothman, 56, of Fairmont, passed unexpectedly from this life at his home Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born in Fairmont on March 4, 1962 a son of Linda Berry Toothman Beatty and the late Joseph E. Toothman. He was a Methodist by faith. He had formerly worked as a coal miner for Eastern. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing. In addition to his mother he is survived by his son Jordan Robert Toothman of Fairmont; his brother and sister-in-law Richard "Rick" and Kerri Toothman of Fairmont and six nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife of four months Melissa Harker Toothman and his step-father. Cremation was chosen as his method of disposition. His family has had a private memorial service for him. Professional services provided by the Frey Home For Funerals.
